Lake Erie Views and Park

Tifft Nature Preserve is an urban park owned by the Buffalo Science Center. Located on the edge of Lake Erie, Tifft is a really nice place spending an hour walking the trails and exploring the natural side of Buffalo. There is free parking and some really amazing boardwalks to explore.
Canalside/Buffalo Waterfront

Canalside and the Buffalo waterfront are some of the best places to enjoy a sunny summer afternoon. You can rent a kayak or walk around and enjoy the weather. Canalside also has a super cool ice skating rink in the winter (with curling and ice bikes). There is a great kids’ museum and a “destination” Tim Hortons.
